Let's take advantage of the great outdoors in this junior scientist camp.  Learn how a compass works and then make your very own compass using household supplies.  Learn how to collect samples of specimens and how to carefully observe them under magnification using microscopes and magnifying lenses.  Sketch artwork of your specimens and record your data in your very own field book.  Learn how to identify poisonous plants by safely exploring real specimens.   Then learn how to plant seeds using a sponge and water creating your very own mini greenhouse.  Using what you find in the fields - create your very own mixed media masterpiece!
